Methodology
How Trust Lite is measured
Trust Lite is a lightweight confidence signal. It is not legal advice and not a replacement for primary-source verification.
Inputs
- Topic count: number of linked `summary_topics` records for the summary.
- Sentiment class: the summary sentiment label (for example `informative` or `neutral`).
Badge Rules
- High: topics >= 4 and sentiment is `informative` or `neutral`.
- Medium: topics >= 2.
- Low: topics >= 1.
- Unrated: no topic evidence attached.
Confidence Score Mapping
- High: 80
- Medium: 65
- Low: 45
- Unrated: 20
How to Interpret
- Example 1: A summary with 5 topics and informative tone is usually tagged High (80).
- Example 2: A summary with 2 topics but mixed tone is typically Medium (65).
- Example 3: A summary with 1 topic may still be Low (45) and should be validated against source footage.
